Documentary and Cinematic Editing Explained

Documentary
A documentary representation is often thought of as an 'as-it-happened' editing style. It is all-inclusive and assures that every moment captured is faithfully portrayed. The multiple angles are blended and the actual, ambient spoken voice and music is used. The running time can vary from 75 minutes to 120 minutes depending on the lengths of the ceremony, toasts and special dance floor events.

Cinematic
The Same-Day Edit, Preview, Featurette and Feature are cinematically edited. Through time-shifting, time-compression, creative use of audio overlays and tight integration with carefully selected music, cinematic editing is able bring out the emotion, highlight the humor and keep the viewer entertained without the feeling that something has been left out.
